Basic Eligibility Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be a Michigan resident
- Caregiver must be providing care for a Medicaid-eligible individual (not Medicaid Spend Down)
- Legal spouses of the patient are not eligible as paid caregivers
- Parents cannot be paid caregivers for their minor children (under 18)
- Must pass a criminal history background check
